The solid surface category was created more than 30 years ago by DuPont. Solid surfaces are an advanced blend of natural materials and pure acrylic polymer. Kormax is made from premium solid surface material, such as: Corian, Hanex, Hi-Macs, Meganite and Staron.

Solid surface materials are nonporous and solid throughout, making them virtually maintenance free and repairable. Unlike natural stone, solid surface materials do not require repeated sealing, which can be costly. They are also chip- and scratch-resistant. Ordinary abrasives are superb in removing any nicks or scratches that do occur, so your solid surface looks new - year after year - and retains its value. And because it is nonporous, bacteria, mold and moisture cannot penetrate its surface, resulting in an extremely sanitary environment.

These materials are thermoformable, meaning they can be conformed to any number of designs. With virtually seamless installation, solid surface is an ideal solution in numerous settings.
